I have always enjoyed baking and after attending a sugar flowers course run by Fair Cake in London I quickly became hooked on creating exquisite sugar flowers which is now my passion. Combining this with my love of baking, it felt natural to me to move to designing and creating wedding cakes. I learnt techniques from leaders in the wedding cake industry including Rosalind Miller, Peggy Porschen, Cotton & Crumbs and Poppy Pickering.
Based on the beautiful Norfolk/Suffolk border, I launched The Little Sugar Rose in 2017 and have developed a style which is elegant, romantic and contemporary. I have been overwhelmed by the compliments I have received from couples and industry experts. I love what I do and sometimes I still have to pinch myself to believe that this is really happening!
My reputation has grown quickly and led to exciting opportunities working with prestigious venues, seeing my cakes appear in leading bridal magazines and most importantly being part of each couple's special day. Working with a couple to create their dream wedding cake and bring their vision to life is quite simply the icing on the (beautifully iced) cake!
